The BellaDonna Bridal Collection was the inspiration of Wendy Makin who recognised a need for an up to date collection for the modern bride that had the elegant style and signature of her benchmark Wendy Makin collection. Introduced in 1999, BellaDonna quickly took the market by storm with brides and boutiques realising the significance of Wendy's vision. Initially designed by Wendy Makin the collection showed simple elegant lines with delicate and exquisite hand beading and coloured embroidery. Using beautiful delustred satins, chiffons and delicate laces the BellaDonna collection quickly gained a dedicated following amongst brides which has been enhanced as the label has developed.
